Hi! I am Joyce Hesselberth. My husband and I have three very busy kids. We run a design/illustration studio in Baltimore, MD. When our kids aren't in school, we bring them to the studio, where they do loop-de-loops on the tricycle, or work on too, too many art projects. Here and there, we spend time exploring Baltimore and beyond. We love finding places that are off the beaten path. Messy is fine. Fun is required. And I don't care how many Cheerios are covering the floor of my minivan. I can fix that later. The point is, that those brilliant little minds are soaking it all in.
I started this blog as a collection of our favorite places to explore, but other things creep in too. Art projects, food experiments, all the stuff of a busy life with kids. I welcome your comments and hope you will share your favorite kid places with me.
