Space Day at Maryland Science Center

WHEN:  Saturday, May 9, 2009 Noon-4 pm

This weekend is Space Day at the Maryland Science Center. Your little astronauts can make their own wearable space helmets, decorate space cookies, build a working spectroscope, create solar art and launch rockets. Launch rockets? Now I'm scared.

Former NASA astronaut Ken Reightler will be on hand to sign autographs and answer questions (like "hey, are those kids over there really supposed to be launching rockets?").

All Space Day activities are free with paid admission.
